SA LIKOD NG HIMALA

A behind-the-scenes footage of the Ishmael Bernal classic, Himala (1982) shows his mastery of crowd handling, an aspect of Bernal's work also noted in many of his films. The stampede scene that becomes the film's highest point, signifies idolatry at its most extreme. Shot by the late Resty Reyes, this is a rare artifact of the Philippines' cinematic history. Also, take note how its star, premier actress, Nora Aunor transforms herself from a mere performer to an icon, a legend for all time.
